Catacombs Road-Repair Trip- Dec 14, 2002

On Saturday December 14th the Becks, Brian Williams, Corey and Adam went to the Catacombs property to spread some gravel and do a little maintenance. Later on we went in through it's world class gate! Corey and I had our new dollar store blowup rafts with us. Catacombs is a different and bigger cave with a mask or goggles. I noticed a few crayfish fish, but only one or two bats. We mostly were in the eastern passages on the way to the cube room. After we made our way back to the entrance Corey, Adam, and sully made a short swim to the area north of the entrance, decided the ammonia smell from an old bat roost was too overwhelming. I saw no bats there. Everyone had fun, and Catacombs remains a real jewel to visit.
